XXIX Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery

This was a unit of Britain’s pre-war regular army. It is also sometimes shown as 29 Brigade RFA.

History

  • Comprising 125, 126 and 127 Batteries, this brigade was under command of 4th Division.
    • On 21 May 1916 128 (Howitzer) Battery from 30 (Howitzer) Brigade RFA joined 29 Brigade RFA. 30 (Howitzer) Brigade had been under command of 3rd Division.
