Despite it being many years since I handed over ownership of the Great War Forum to others, I still often receive emails asking for help logging in.
I have been unable to help directly, for since then I have had no access to admin controls. I have guided those enquirers to the admin team at the forum.
This week, I asked for my account at that forum to be closed, so I no longer have any means of contacting the forum admins other than via a public route.
If you are having this problem, please go direct to the Great War Forum admins. There is a contact form on that website. Do not pass Go, do not collect £200! And please do not email me!
Update at 27 July 2026: my account at the Great War Forum is now closed. Posts I have made there since I started it all those years ago now appear only under the name of “guest”.
