- Hightree House: property of Miss Gertrude Helen Crawshay, donated for use as a Red Cross Auxiliary Hospital. She served as Quartermaster of the hospital, with 48 Voluntary Aid Detachment, from January 1915 to March 1919. Commandant Mrs Georgina Jebb. First 9 casualties arrived after transfer from hospital in Cardiff in early March 1915.
