This was a unit of Britain’s pre-war regular army. It is also sometimes shown as 33 Brigade RFA.
History
- This brigade was originally comprised of numbers 32,33 and 36 Batteries RFA. It was placed under command of 8th Division and went to France with it in November 1914.
- On 18 May 1916 a fourth battery, 55 (Howitzer) Battery, joined from 128 Brigade which had also been in 8th Division but which was now being broken up.
