“B” Battalion
Formed from the amalgamation of the Warwickshire Yeomanry and the South Nottinghamshire Hussars, in Egypt on 3 April 1918. Moved to France by end of June 1918. Redesignated 100th Battalionn MGC on 19 August 1918, and after brief spells with 12th and 47th Divisions, joined 58th Division and moved on to 46th, 25th and finally 66th Divisions.
“C” Battalion
Formed from the amalgamation of the Berkshire Yeomanry and the Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars, in Egypt on 13 June 1918. Moved to France by end of June 1918, after first sailing from Alexandria to Taranto 17-21 June. Redesignated 101st Battalion MGC on 19 August 1918.
“D” Battalion
Formed from the amalgamation of the East Riding Yeomanry and the Lincolnshire Yeomanry, in Egypt on 7 April 1918. Moved to France by early June 1918. Redesignated 102nd Battalionn MGC in August 1918, attached as First Army troops.
“E” Battalion
Formed from the amalgamation of the 1/1st City of London Yeomanry and the 1/3rd County of London Yeomanry, in Egypt on 7 April 1918. Moved to France by early June 1918. Redesignated 103rd Battalionn MGC on 19 August 1918, attached as First Army troops.
“F” Battalion
Formed by the 1/2nd County of London Yeomanry (at this time known as XX Corps Cavalry Regiment), in Egypt on 7 April 1918. Moved to France by early June 1918. Redesignated 104th Battalion MGC on 19 August 1918, attached as Second Army troops.
